New England Patriots dream draft target Abdul Carter received a positive medical update on Thursday.
A medical recheck done in Indianapolis showed that the stress reaction in his foot is healing, and there has been improvement in his recovery. No surgery will be needed, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus, via ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Carter has already visited the Patriots ahead of the 2025 NFL draft. He is a projected top-four pick, so the Patriots, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants will reportedly be his only visits.
