Patriots' defensive backs adjusted to unusually strong wind for INTs

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick almost always has his team practice outside -- regardless of the weather -- with the thinking that they might be playing a game in the elements at some point over the course of a season.

So outside of dangerously high winds and lightning, the Patriots seldom step inside the Empower Field House, and the approach might have benefited them in Sunday's win over the Dolphins.

As detailed on the upcoming Patriots All-Access program, unusually high winds were a factor in the game, which had defensive coordinator Matt Patricia talking to the team's defensive backs on the sideline, saying: "Remember this: Any deep ball, going towards the lighthouse, especially on our sideline, ain't going to make it.
