The Washington Commanders make the trek to Foxborough for a joint practice with the New England Patriots on Wednesday.
This will be the first opportunity for the new-look Patriots to test themselves against outside competition. More importantly, they'll be testing themselves against the runner-up team from the 2024 NFC Championship Game.
The Commanders are everything the Patriots want to be right now, a 4-13 team that morphed into a 12-5 team overnight. Quarterback Jayden Daniels, who came from the same draft class as Drake Maye, stepped under center and had immediate success in the NFL.
