New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel indicated that rookie interior offensive lineman Jared Wilson will play at center during rookie minicamp. However, Vrabel expects all interior players to know how to play all three spots.
He's valuing versatility along the offensive line and demanding it from his players. It's a great way to prepare for potential changes in emergency situations.
Wilson, who was drafted 95th overall out of Georgia, is talented and athletic enough to play at all three positions. He was arguably the best center in the entire 2025 NFL draft. That puts him in direct competition with the likes of Garrett Bradbury and Ben Brown, following the release of longtime center and former team captain David Andrews.
