Nearly a week after carving up their defense in the preseason finale, veteran quarterback Tommy DeVito was reportedly claimed on waivers by the New England Patriots on Wednesday, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
DeVito will now join a quarterback room that features Drake Maye and Joshua Dobbs.
When the Giants and Patriots met in the final preseason game, DeVito went 17-of-20 passing for 198 yards and three touchdowns.
