Training camp and the preseason are a very telling time for any roster in the league, as they ultimately determine the futures of every player, especially those who are expected to compete for a spot on their current team's roster. The Patriots are going to have a lot of battles for limited space on this year's team, with the receiving corps near the top of the list as the most competitive.
They currently roster 12 wide receivers, with the expectation being a max of seven or eight spots will be open on the final 53. With just a few spots already locked for players such as Stefon Diggs, Mack Hollins, and Kyle Williams, that leaves only a few spots for our five remaining players to make the cut.
