The New England Patriots were not messing around this offseason. The franchise is coming off an unacceptable 3-14 season that saw first-year head coach Jerod Mayo fired immediately after. While the season did not go according to plan, the organization has seemingly found its answer at quarterback in Drake Maye.
The 2024 No. 3 overall pick showed poise beyond his years, compiling a QBR that ranked 17th in the NFL. And Maye should only improve going forward as the front office has focused on surrounding him with a competent offensive line and additional weapons on the outside.
