Patriots Announce Updated Player Jersey Numbers

The Patriots made a few internal changes when it comes to player jersey numbers, which they announced on Monday morning.

Some of the notable mentions include the fact that veteran cornerback Malcolm Butler will wear #4 this season, with Butler previously having worn #21 during his original stint with the club. That number is now currently held by safety Adrian Phillips.

While this one had already been mentioned by newcomer DeVante Parker in an exchange with Julian Edelman on Twitter that saw Edelman post a sad gif in a Tweet he later deleted, Parker will don #11 for the team when he takes the field in the coming months.
