The New England Patriots officially announced multiple releases and signings after Tuesday's training camp practice.
According to the team, they have signed rookie free agent running back Micah Bernard and defensive tackle Philip Blidi, while also releasing cornerback Tre Avery and defensive end Jereme Robinson.
The Patriots are in the final week of training camp, and this is their chance to evaluate their bloated roster before making a decision on which players to keep on the final 53-man team. They are also looking for players to stash on their practice squad as developmental prospects.
