The New England Patriots announced a series of roster moves on Tuesday.
They signed running back JaMycal Hasty and defensive tackle Bryce Ganious, per the team's official website. In addition, they placed cornerback Marcellas Dial Jr. and defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy on injured reserve, while also claiming former San Francisco 49ers cornerback Tre Avery and releasing tight end Tyler Davis.
Dial and Hasty played sizable roles for the Patriots last season. Hasty had 20 carries for 69 yards, while also catching 10 passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.
