The New England Patriots struggled defensively for much of last season, but their special teams units actually played pretty well. That is in part because of safety Brenden Schooler, who showed out as a gunner on punt coverage.
Schooler was recognized at the end of last season with a Pro Bowl nod and first-team All-Pro status. The 28-year-old out of Texas went undrafted in 2022, but made enough of a mark on the Patriots to land a spot on the 53-man roster ever since.
