Nick Folk activated to Patriots roster, likely to kick Week 2 vs. Seahawks; DB Myles Bryant promoted from practice squad

The New England Patriots have taken yet another step in the slowly trudging weekly riddle that is their field goal situation.

For the second straight week, the Patriots have promoted kicker Nick Folk from their practice squad to their active roster. That makes Folk the only active kicker on the roster and the logical candidate to handle place-kicking duties for the second straight week.

Additionally, the Patriots announced that they have activated rookie defensive back Myles Bryant to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday’s game. The 5-foot-9, 185-pound Bryant is an undrafted rookie and landed with the practice squad after being cut at the end of training camp.
