The New England Patriots and New York Jets will enter today’s contest with very similar goals in mind. While both teams will obviously be contending for their first wins on the 2021 season, they also each have a head coach/rookie quarterback combo that they’re hoping will lead their franchises for years to come.
The Patriots’ duo of Bill Belichick and Mac Jones started off strong in Week 1, as Jones handedly out performed his counterpart Tua Tagovailoa despite a loss. That Belichick guy is pretty good at is job as well. The Jets’ newcomers didn’t start out so hot, as they fell behind to a 16-0 deficit at halftime.
