Former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman joined the “ManningCast” for Monday Night Football between the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
And Edelman made an interesting confession to former Giants quarterback Eli Manning: they were almost teammates. (Of course, they were opponents in Super Bowl XLVI, when the Giants upset the Patriots, 21-17.)
According to NBC Sports Boston, Edelman actually visited the Giants in 2013 as an unrestricted free agent before deciding to return to New England.
