NFL player who was seriously injured in 2017 Foxborough crash rejoins Patriots

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. —

The New England Patriots are bringing back a player who made the team as an undrafted rookie four years ago and suffered a major setback during that same season.

The Patriots announced Monday that they signed free agent linebacker Harvey Langi, but the team did not disclose the terms of the contract.

ESPN's Mike Reiss is reporting that Langi's agent, Kenny Zuckerman, told him that the 28-year-old player is coming to New England on a one-year deal.

Langi initially joined the Patriots as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Brigham Young University in 2017 and made the team's 53-man roster out of training camp.
