The New England Patriots have a restoration project to carry out on the offensive line this offseason.
New England failed to protect Drake Maye last year and that needs to change entering the quarterback’s sophomore season. That puts offensive tackle high on the shopping list for the Patriots, whether in free agency or the NFL draft.
The Athletic’s Dane Brugler has offensive line in mind for the Patriots in his latest mock draft with the No. 4 overall selection, this time with Missouri’s Armand Membou.
“Teams are warming up to the idea that Membou could go this high — his tape is goon enough; his testing was more than good enough,” Brugler wrote.
