New York Giants rookie defensive back TJ Moore was released from the hospital after a multi-day stay on Sunday, having undergone successful surgery to repair a fractured femur.
Moore sustained the injury late in the fourth quarter during a Week 3 preseason victory over the New England Patriots. It had come just minutes after a pick-6 -- the first interception and touchdown of his young career.
On Sunday, the Giants officially placed Moore on injured reserve (IR), effectively ending his season.
Moore returned to team facilities shortly after his release from the hospital, where he met with head coach Brian Daboll.
