The New York Giants completed their undefeated preseason by squashing the New England Patriots, 42-10, at MetLife Stadium on Thursday night. They scored 107 total points in their three preseason games, a 180-degree turn from their recent scoring struggles that led to a 9-25 record over the past two seasons.
Head coach Brian Daboll was pleased with the results but knows not to get above his raisin'.
"I think just the effort of the guys is what we're really focused on, the discipline, their team-first attitude, their work ethic, big things, accountability to one another, to the coaches, to the players," he said after the game.
