The New England Patriots might have looked very good in their win over the Philadelphia Eagles in the preseason, but they suffered a notable loss. In the win, the Patriots saw their first-round pick, Isaiah Wynn, go down with a torn Achilles.
This is obviously very sad news for Wynn, as nobody wants to suffer any sort of injury like this, especially in the preseason.
The Patriots selected Wynn with the 23rd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Georgia. Wynn was drafted after the team lost Nate Solder in free agency, as they hoped Wynn could be an option at left tackle.
