The quarterback competition may be on pause, but there’s a new kicking competition coming to Foxborough.
The Patriots hosted Nick Folk for a visit Saturday, and according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, they plan to re-sign the kicker on Monday. The veteran was steady for New England last season, making 14 of 17 field goals, but only attempted one longer than 50 yards. He was a perfect 12-for-12 on extra points.
