New England Patriots reportedly sign former Missouri football OL who just won UFL title

Former Missouri football left tackle Yasir Durant is back in the NFL.

Durant has signed for the New England Patriots on Tuesday after a successful season in the United Football League, per a report from Mark Daniels of MassLive. Durant rejoins the Patriots after winning a UFL title as a starting offensive lineman for the DC Defenders.

The Patriots now have two players from MU with the potential to play left tackle, as Durant joins 2025 NFL Draft seventh-round pick Marcus Bryant, who spent his final college season with MU.

The offensive lineman is the second former Mizzou player who has signed for an NFL team out of the UFL in the past week, following former kicker Harrison Mevis, who signed for the New York Jets after a standout season with the Birmingham Stallions.
