The New England Patriots parted ways with former Georgia Bulldogs linebacker Monty Rice on Friday. Rice was among the 14 Patriots cut to get closer to bringing the roster size down to 53.
Rice has bounced around in the league since his three-year tenure with the Tennessee Titans. The Titans drafted Rice in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft, but after three years, but after injuries and a lack of production, the Titans waived him on Dec. 5, 2023.
The New Orleans Saints picked Rice up the day afterward, but he never ended up making the active roster, becoming a final cuts victim in 2024.
