New England Patriots missing six players at Thursday’s practice, could be awfully thin at linebacker vs. New York Jets

FOXBOROUGH — The Patriots could be awfully thin at inside linebacker this Sunday.

Six players missed a raw practice on Thursday afternoon, including Josh Uche, Anfernee Jennings, and Terez Hall. Factor in Ja’Whaun Bentley’s shoulder injury that held him out of Monday night’s loss to Buffalo, and they’re really banged up at the position.

David Andrews and Shaq Mason were also absent on Thursday, but if they can’t play, a pair of rookies make them easier to replace. Joe Thuney could kick over to center, with Michael Onwenu moving back to guard and Justin Herron slotting into the vacant tackle spot.
