By all accounts, Jerod Mayo has hit the ground running. The Patriots new head coach is lining up interviews to beef up and round out his staff. All we have now are rumors that Steven and Brian Belichick had been offered opportunities to stay in New England, but also that Jerod Mayo is supposedly interviewing candidates for coordinator positions. Fans are left to sift through all the reports and take none of them at face value until official announcements are made. We’ll know when we know.
