New England Patriots end first round of NFL draft with WR N'Keal Harry

Tasked with the final pick of the first round in the 2019 NFL draft, the reigning Super Bowl champions had a decision to make. Would they draft Missouri’s Drew Lock as their quarterback of the future? Or, would they trade back?

The New England Patriots did neither and instead used their 32nd overall pick to draft N’Keal Harry, Arizona State’s top wide receiver.

Harry is the first wide receiver that the Patriots have drafted in the first round in the Bill Belichick era.

The last wide receiver drafted by Belichick in the first was Derrick Alexander in the 1994 draft.
