Michael Pickney, a 22-year-old rookie linebacker from Miami, is the newest member of the New England Patriots practice squad as the team cut ties with defensive lineman Xavier Williams.
Special teamer Cody Davis, who has been absent all week with a rib injury, was missing from the media viewable (stretching) part of Patriots practice again Friday making it likely he’ll miss Sunday’s game at Kansas City.
The Patriots have until Saturday to make bigger roster decisions.
Running back Damien Harris and wide receiver/punt returner Gunner Olszewski have both been back at Patriots practice after spending the first three weeks on injured reserve.
