East West Shrine Game Results
The West Team defeated the East Team by a score of 26-11 The Offensive MVP was RB Frank Gore Jr. from Southern Mississippi, and the Defensive MVP was CB Jarius Monroe from Tulane. Gore, the son of former NLF runningback Frank Gore rushed for 87 yards and a TD on just 6 carries. He outshined Maryland QB Taulia Tagovailoa who also impressed in Thursday’s game, completing 9 of 14 passes for 142 yards. He also rushed for a score to help the West All-Stars to victory. Monroe was impressive all week down in Frisco TX.
