A Milpitas community leader has started an online petition asking residents to agree to wear face masks in public to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Milpitas Unified School District board member Chris Norwood created the petition after talking with a family friend who survived COVID-19 but now has permanent damage to his lungs and immune system. Those who sign the petition agree to become part of Norwood’s @weask2mask campaign to help protect Milpitas’s vulnerable . . .
