New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel has not been afraid to set the tone during team workouts. Veteran defensive tackle Milton Williams, who signed with the team in the offseason, claimed he has already been called out by the Patriots' coach.
During the first week of the offseason program, the team was running sprints, and Williams was ahead of his teammates and the time to beat. The budding star defensive tackle eased near the finish line, sensing he was well ahead of everyone else.
Vrabel noticed it right away and didn't like it.
"He let me know like if you're gonna be here, you're gonna set the standard," Williams told media members on Tuesday, via Boston Herald's Andrew Callahan.
