Mike Vrabel sends Patriots players a loud message before camp even starts

The atmosphere surrounding the Patriots last season resembled that of a country club in some aspects under Jerod Mayo, and the results on the field —a 4-13 record and a mostly mediocre roster —spoke for themselves. There was hardly any accountability in the locker room, which was a far cry from the Bill Belichick era.

If the latest episode of "Forged in Foxborough" is any indication, things will be different under Mike Vrabel. Like Mayo, Vrabel is a former Patriot and a Super Bowl champion with the organization as a player. However, Vrabel's head coaching experience and no-nonsense approach make him the right candidate for this job.
