New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel announced two joint practices ahead of preseason games against the Washington Commanders and Minnesota Vikings. That will put the Patriots in the crosshairs of two playoff teams before the season begins.
Scrimmaging with another team breaks up the monotony of the typical training camp grind when facing the same offense or defense for multiple practices in a row. It's also a great gauge to see where the team is at currently in comparison to the rest of the league.
"I think for sure that the Washington Commanders will come here, and then they'll play us," Vrabel said ahead of OTAs on Tuesday.
