New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel didn't make a big deal out of Drake Maye’s struggles last week, after the second-year quarterback threw four interceptions during competitive 11-on-11s.
It was the team's first open OTAs practice, and it was clearly a rough day overall for the offense. They struggled to get in sync against a Patriots defense that could be significantly improved over last season. However, Vrabel wasn't pushing the panic button over one practice.
He noted that he continues to see improvement from Maye and the offense behind the scenes.
“The command, the operation, all those things have continued to improve.
