Most of the conversation surrounding the Patriots this season, besides how they've put together a much better year than anyone predicted, has been about Drake Maye's second-year rise and the impeccable addition of Mike Vrabel as the new head coach. The combination, along with the rest of the coaching staff and upgraded roster, has led them to a 13-3 record and on the cusp of winning the AFC East and No. 1 seed.
It is a nightmare scenario for the AFC and the rest of the NFL, as Maye has been playing like a legitimate MVP candidate and has put himself on the map much sooner than anyone outside of New England hoped for.
