Michael Irvin said he heard from ‘significant people’ that the Cowboys could sign Tom Brady

A new team has emerged from the rumor mill as a potential landing spot for Tom Brady.

Appearing on WEEI’s “Dale & Keefe” on Friday, former Dallas Cowboy great Michael Irvin said he talked with “significant people” during Super Bowl week who mentioned a scenario where the Cowboys franchise tag quarterback Dak Prescott, trade him, and then sign the 42-year old Brady in free agency.

“I am telling you right now, at the Super Bowl in Miami, some very significant people that I had conversations (with were) leaning in that same direction,” Irvin said on the show.
