The Patriots did exactly what they had to do on the road against the Jets in Week 17, scoring touchdowns the first six times they had the ball enroute to a 42-10 thrashing of the Jets in the Meadowlands.
The win boosted the Patriots’ record to 13-3 and a perfect 8-0 on the road this season. Although they’re tied with Denver for the best record in the league, Denver owns the tie-breaker for the #1 seed in the AFC.
The Patriots were missing several key players, especially at wide receiver, including Kayshon Boutte and Mack Hollins. But Drake Maye made it look easy, as if it were a 7-on-7 drill.
