Major return highlights Patriots resuming OTAs practice

There was an uplifting feeling in the air as the New England Patriots resumed OTAs practice on Thursday. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who had been away from the team mourning personal tragedies, was back in the building.

Last season, Stevenson lost his childhood friend, Brandan Harley, and in March, his father, Robert, passed away at 54 years old. Patriots coach Mike Vrabel remained in contact with Stevenson while he was away from the team, grieving two tragedies in a short period.

On Tuesday, Vrabel remained firm in his stance that Stevenson is going to play a major role for the Patriots in the 2025 season, even after the team spent a second-round pick on rookie TreVeyon Henderson in the 2025 NFL draft.
