Longtime Patriots captain, two-time Super Bowl champion will retire

David Andrews has called it a career.

The New England Patriots announced on Wednesday that David Andrews will hold a retirement press conference on Monday, June 2 at 3:30 p.m.

The longtime Patriots captain was released by New England in March after spending his first 10 seasons with the organization.

Andrews was a staple to the Patriots offensive line for a decade. He won two Super Bowls and provided a veteran presence whether the Patriots were atop the AFC East or at the bottom of the standings.
