The Patriots’ joint practices against the Vikings this week were a mixed bag.
There was plenty of good for New England on Wednesday, but Minnesota seemed to regroup and take control on Thursday.
Now it’s time to see how things will look during the Patriots’ second preseason game.
New England was dominant in the preseason home opener, beating Washington 48-18. Rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson ran the opening kickoff back 100 yards for a touchdown.
Undrafted rookie wideout Efton Chism made six catches for 50 yards. Cornerback DJ James, who made noise during training camp, continued his strong preseason with an interception.
