It was reported early on Wednesday that the New England Patriots have made safety Kyle Dugger and outside linebacker Anfernee Jennings available for trade, according to Boston Herald's Andrew Callahan.
The Athletic's Jeff Howe added a couple of new nuggets of information to the original report. According to Howe, Dugger's contract has already proven to be an issue in trade talks. He signed a four-year, $58 million extension with the team last year. That's a hefty contract for a player of Dugger's caliber, and teams are hesitant to take him on that deal.
Meanwhile, there has reportedly already been interest shown in Jennings, who has played well in the preseason.
