A recent 2025 NFL draft nugget suggested it will be unlikely for the New England Patriots to trade down from the No. 4 overall pick, if Colorado's Travis Hunter and Penn State's Abdul Carter aren't available.
When answering a fan's question, The Athletic's Chad Graff spoke with someone with a team picking outside of the top 10, and that individual voiced some doubt regarding the Patriots' chances of trading down.
“Slim. I talked to someone from a team who picks outside the top 10, and they said they’d be shocked if someone moved up for the fourth pick," Graff wrote.
