The Kansas City Chiefs signed veteran wide receiver Tyquan Thornton to their practice squad last season after the New England Patriots cut him on November 16, 2024.
Thornton entered the NFL as a second-round selection of the Patriots in the 2022 NFL draft after a productive tenure at Baylor University.
During his time in New England, Thornton dealt with injuries that affected his development, including a clavicle fracture that derailed the early part of his rookie season.
Despite his lackluster production with the Patriots, Thornton remains an exciting prospect due to his elite footspeed.
