Former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has some doubts about the offense heading into the 2022 season.
Much has been made of the Patriots lacking official titles of offensive and defensive coordinator. New England’s offensive struggles were on full display during the preseason, as they struggled to get consistent production out of the passing game and couldn’t generate much on the ground.
They have yet to name the play-caller for Sunday, as they get set to take on an aggressive Miami Dolphins defense. Edelman appeared on The Greg Hill Show Friday and admitted he was concerned about the direction of the offense for a variety of reasons, as transcribed by Zack Cox of NESN.
