Bill Belichick was not hired in this coaching cycle, but former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman told Colin Cowherd on Thursday that he can’t see it lasting long.
Belichick will not be on an NFL sideline for the first time since 1975. There was an opening before Thursday for the Washington Commanders’ head coaching position. However, the job went to former Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, and Belichick was officially left out in the cold.
But Edelman doesn’t think Belichick will rest on his laurels. In fact, he sees the former Patriots coach studying during his time off, as transcribed by NESN.
