Among the coaches and players from the New England Patriots’ quarterback room last season, only Drake Maye remains entering the 2025 season.
Maye is now set to be backed up by Joshua Dobbs, who he first met at a NFLPA golf event in Cancun, Mexico earlier this offseason. With the two in Foxboro for the Patriots voluntary offseason program, Maye has taken it upon his shoulders to show the 30-year old around.
“He can hit the crap out of it with his driver,” Dobbs said Tuesday. “It’s good to get a chance to meet each other outside of the football environment and put a face with a name, and start talking ball and get to know each other.
