It appears the Dallas Cowboys are doubling down on Greg Hardy's poor word choice.
Hardy raised eyebrows yesterday when he said, "I hope I come out guns blazing."
The defensive end is returning from a suspension for a domestic violence incident where ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder alleged, "Hardy picked me up over his head and threw me onto a couch covered in assault rifles and/or shotguns. I landed on those weapons. Hardy bragged that all the assault rifles were loaded."
Today, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told SI.com that Hardy's words are being overblown.
"Well, you're not allowed to bring guns onto a football field," Jones said.
