The 2024 NFL Draft is quickly approaching and the New England Patriots have a big decision to make with the third pick.
Sources indicated to MassLive at the NFL Combine in March that the plan was for them to draft a quarterback. Coach Jerod Mayo said it was a “priority” for the team, but mentioned he was leaving all options on the table.
Many mock drafts have New England drafting Drake Maye out of North Carolina. Caleb Williams figures to go first to the Chicago Bears, and the Washington Commanders are also expected to draft a quarterback after trading Sam Howell to the Seattle Seahawks earlier this offseason.
