The New England Patriots have been the most buttoned-up franchise in the NFL since the turn of the century, but Bill Belichick was clearly a big driver of that.
Now, with Jerod Mayo at the helm, New England seems to have a bit more personality.
After being drafted, Patriots rookie wideout Javon Baker told the media and fans that his performances would amaze on the football field each week, comparing to play to miracles.
Under the previous regime, those comments wouldn't fly, and he'd be reprimanded, but Mayo seems to be more open to such things.
