Jarrett Stidham gets no challengers for New England QB job from NFL Draft

The New England Patriots came out of the NFL Draft on Saturday night with the same number of quarterbacks on their roster as when the draft started on Thursday.

After 20 seasons and six Super Bowl victories with the Patriots, Tom Brady left in March for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers via free agency. New England’s offseason quarterback depth chart includes former Auburn standout Jarrett Stidham, who served as Brady’s backup as a rookie in 2019, and Brian Hoyer, an 11-year veteran back with the Patriots after a season with the Indianapolis Colts.
