Jakobi Meyers is the best young Patriots WR since Deion Branch

FOXBOROUGH – As a child, Jakobi Meyers dreamed of throwing touchdown passes in the NFL. When he entered the league as an undrafted wide receiver, those goals changed.

As it turns out, Meyers’ football journey took him to a team that would find a way to utilize all his talents.

In the Patriots' regular-season finale, Meyers put a stamp on his outstanding second year in the NFL. The 24-year-old led the Patriots in catches and yards, finishing with six receptions for 68 yards in the team's win over the New York Jets. Meyers also threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Cam Newton.
