WEST PALM BEACH — Mac Jones might be without one of his favorite targets in Miami.
Jakobi Meyers (knee) was listed as a limited participant on New England’s first injury report of the season, along with Ty Montgomery (ankle) and Isaiah Wynn (back). In an offense that’s struggled to find traction this summer, Meyers has been one constant; losing him would be a major blow.
The wide receiver and Jones have formed obvious chemistry, and the quarterback sung his praises at the end of training camp.
“He’s just a really smart football player,” Jones said. “He’s been one of my close friends since I’ve gotten here, and I trust him.
